Matthew Hayden, Liz Ellis, Matthew Burke and two Tiwi College Apprentices come together for October fundraiser

October 8, 2016 By Webmaster 0 Comment News

Featuring in NT’s October Business Month, the Hayden Reynolds Tiwi College Project will be hosting a special dinner on Tuesday, 18th October to raise funds for the charity.

Australian batsman and Tiwi College Project Director Matthew Hayden will be attending the night, along with former Australian sporting stars Liz Ellis and Matthew Burke. Guests will also be introduced to two leading female College Apprentices to hear how the Tiwi Project has changed their lives.  One of the girls, Tic-Tac (Dianne Moore) will be hand painting a special cricket bat on the night, which will then be auctioned.

We hope you can join us for this exclusive opportunity to mix with our sporting special guests and hear how the Tiwi College Project is making a difference for students on the Tiwi Islands.

There will also be some very unique items for auction on the night to raise valuable funds to help us keep adding value to the kids of the Tiwis.

If you cant make it, donations can be made at: https://www.givenow.com.au/kpmgblktiwigarden

Quotes from the Tiwis

Going to the Tiwi Islands was a fantastic experience. The scenery was unbelievable, but the true highlight was meeting the Tiwi people and seeing first hand the positive effect this project and Tiwi College have had on the local community…
